Biratnagar, November 20. United Democratic Madheshi Front activists attacked an ambulance with a sick child on board, in Katahari, on Friday, police informed.
A group of 7-8 cadres stopped the ambulance and pelted it with bricks, apparently without letting the driver, the child and mother come out. The attack shattered the ambulance’s windshields, causing minor injuries to the mother and the child. The injured have been rushed to the Koshi Zonal Hospital.
The ambulance with number plate Ko 1 Cha 7979 was taking the child suffering from pneumonia to Dr Prakash Rana’s clinic in Biratnagar.
