Lines, lines and more lines (Photo feature)

Kathmandu, November 18. One can see people queuing up almost everywhere in Kathmandu these days. Public vehicles queing up at petrol pumps has become a permanent sight, and on the day the oil corporation sells fuel to private vehicle owners, the line extends to hundreds of metres.
On Sunday, the government started selling fuelwood. But there was a long line for that also. On Monday, it was gas. People started queuing up after news spread that LPG was being distributed from select outlets.
After 23 bullets of gas stranded in Raxaul was re-routed through Bhairahawa on Monday, gas distributors started distributing gas, although in small amounts. According to officials, more outlets will sell gas in the days to come.
