Police say a manhunt has been launched to capture the assailants who attacked Brij Kishwor Yadav on Sunday night
Nov 17, 2015- A school teacher was injured when an unidentified group opened fire on him at Hariharpur in Bara district on Sunday night.
According to police, the assailants shot at 50-year-old Brij Kishwor Yadav, the headmaster of Nepal Rastriya Primary School in Hariharpur-3, at his residence. The victim, who has received injuries on his back, is receiving treatment at Birgunj-based Narayani Sub-regional Hospital.
The group had shot at Yadav through the window while he was sleeping. The assailant fled the scene immediately after attacking Yadav. Inspector Krishnadev Chaudhary of Simraungadh Police Office said that the motive behind the attack was yet to be ascertained. Personal enmity could be the reason, said Inspector Chaudhary, adding that further investigation into the incident was underway. “Search is on to nab the assailants,” said Chaudhary.
